That's about 6dB less sensitivity than the Subway cabinets, so for similar volume, the 800 watts would need to be multiplied by a factor of four (10 x log 4) = 6dB, resulting in needing an amp with 3200 watts RMS for the same volume.
This is why sensitivity is so important IF you need high maximum SPL. Of course, higher sensitivity may come with trade-offs of less LF extensions. voicing limitations, etc. so it's important to balance everything that you might require out of a speaker to be sure you get what you really need.
Yeow. didnt realize the huge difference. My cabs sound great, but I really shouldn't
