Awesome in any case.
Bag End stuff always delivers the goods.
I don't need that volume at most of my gigs -- but I do sometimes miss large cones moving big air!

Ha... notice the mat under the amp ... that is a given .. without that the amp wants to fly off into the audience.

Actually..these cabs don’t vibrate like the lightweight cabs do.

The color of the cabinets actually change with the lighting. In sunlight they are that purple..on a dark stage they are almost black.

I have been using it with my Ampeg 2x12 as well. Was trying to figure out what lightweight cab would work well with it. Thought about the Subway 115 but it's 8ohm and the 2x12 is 4ohm.

@agedhorse , I got a question from a potential buyer asking if the warranty is transferable on the WD-800? I cannot find the information on the website and left a voicemail to support but I know how incredible you are in this thread so I figured I'd ask

The warranty is 5 years to the original purchaser currently, and was 5 year transferable for products built through [February] 2019. Customer service can verify the build date through the serial number if you give them a call.

I finally got my Mesa cabinet that I have always wanted. I’ve been dreaming of a Mesa stack for the last 20 years probably. The weight for this 2x12 is great and build quality is amazing.

Lots of low end punch from this cab! Really great mids and bite too, and I love that it is 4ohms!

No, this isn't going to work since the DI output is balanced and the adapter will put inverted signal on the ring and the non-inverted signal on the tip. Most simple interfaces won't allow you to invert the ring then sum (assuming a stereo 1/8" input, and I don't know of any balanced 1/8" inputs).

Assuming you have a D-800+ or WD-800, what you can do is take the effects send and since the send's ring floats, you will get a good signal in the tip. This will be a line level signal so be sureto setthe laptop or interface to receive line level.

For using the DI in this situation (assuming you have access to quality soldering equipment and technique):
If you have a D-800, you can use a special adapter cable wired as follows:
XLR(F) pin 1 to the sleeve of the 1/8" TRS
XLR(F) pin 2 to the tip and ring of the 1/8" TRS
XLR(F) pin 3 unconnected

Be sure to carefully label this cable as it's "way not standard" and is sure to cause grief to others (or yourself) in the future if you don't.

I just got the WD800 which I’m friggin loving. And I’ll try both the effects send first and make a special cable..I have the goodies. I have a lot to record and demos to set up so this badboy will tick another box.
