Went to a Clown Burger and got a small, was charged for a large.
The kid was able to use the keys on the cash register to figure out the difference in the menu price, but that didn’t include the sales tax. When I asked about that, the kid got really upset, not at me, but almost in tears type of upset. I felt bad and told the kid not to worry about it, and I left. It was late and the kid was the only one there. No older teen assistant night manager or anything, just a kid that probably didn’t even drive yet. Not a good idea IMHO.

Sent a nasty gram to the franchise owner admonishing him for not teaching his kids how to include the tax in a refund, and for leaving a young inexperienced kid in the place alone. I told him this wasn’t the kid’s fault. Hoping no one got fired over it I said I’d be back and looked forward to being served by the kid in the future.

Obviously a whole lot of cues were missed along the way in preparing the kid for a customer service job.

Lolz, I deal with a lot of statistics wonks encapsulating their ideals into applications.

Machine Learning, it's just a way to stitch together lots of expertise yammering at each other into some semblance of a working system.

Should be a few weeks, customer service will know better than me. Generally, accessories are available through the online store as soon as they are in stock. The rack ears should be a few weeks still, they too will be available through the online store (in black only) but will also fit the original Walkabouts.

My portable Peterson strobe tuner/metronome runs on rechargable batteries. It requires a USB port for charging. Having a charging port on an amp is a big plus.

Does the USB port require that the amp be powered up to be active?

EQ Bypass on the foot switch? I was going to ask a question, but I read the manual myself and learned that it is a bypass for the parametric EQ section only. Not sure what I'd use that for. I guess with the Walkabout I did tend to skip over the PEQ and could just use that as a pseudo channel switching.

Get the WD and the subway plus pre, then bypass one or the other. Either world at your toe tips :D

Post Eq FOH, then mess with the sound guy :D
