You’re talking about the LowRider, right?I used mine live last night. Just got it so didn’t have time to try out before the show. I used the 45 setting. The low bass was unreal. Still needs dialing in, but both guitarists looked at me like *** was that when I hit that first open E in the first song. It was huge bass unlike I’ve ever gotten live. But at the same time, it didn’t overwhelm everything else. I tried it at the 65 setting and it did get a real weird rubbery sound. Didn’t try any other settings. This will be a fun pedal.

That is making me want one got on the wait list.Yes. Didn’t realize what thread I was in. LOL.
I did use the new black DCX as well though.
Thin strips of blue painters tape offset the black nicely.Okay the DCX BASS BOOST 1st impressions.
It made me want try other Origin Effects pedals. Solid as brick build wise. 1st off I wish they put white markings on the knobs Cosmetically it wouldn't not have taken anything way but made it easier to read the knobs on a dark stage. Only tried it with a passive bass. MIJ Geddy Lee Jazz bass I can see why for a live settings you'd potentially want 2 of these one EQ mode & One in OD mode. It's like very few other pedals I've bought but knew instantly this is a keeper and could easily see me buying others if I decided to have more than a home pedalboard and gig pedalboard. Can't wait to take this to the studio in 2 weeks. Honeymoon period I get it nut I doubt this is pedal infatuation
Or a careful dab of Michael Nesmith’s Mother’s invention in the knob groove.Thin strips of blue painters tape offset the black nicely.
Was going to suggest this very thing as well. Actually, this came to me first, but it requires some Monkeeing around.Or a careful dab of Michael Nesmith’s Mother’s invention in the knob groove.
liquid paper.
That’s pretty much what it does in EQ mode- accentuating the bottom end. It offers a wide palette. Works really well with dirt. How much low end does this pedal have? Like I don't expect it to be boomy, but would love for it to accentuate the bottom end.
Tempted to get this pedal. I currently have an Empress Para EQ on my board, but I am tempted to get the DCX to replace the Hudson Dual Broadcast as a drive pedal.
I think Nate Navarro has part of his video with flats. Is there any demo on a jazz bass woth flats?
Thx!I think Nate Navarro has part of his video with flats.
