While you're waiting, try a Bass Buddy. I liked it so much........I bought the company. No, that's not right. I liked it so much I ordered another one for an emergency backup/spare. Bass Buddy #2 should be here any day. When it gets here I'll do a another review on it. I can't wait to do an A/B comparison test to see if it sounds as good as the one I got two weeks ago.

Roger- definitely another vote here for the preamp/DI, version II.

As the PJB Bass Buddy is showing, it's very handy for a bassist to have a single unit combining poweramp-driving-capable preamp, headphone amp, and quality DI.
