As is the empress compressor if you don’t want the colouring of the diamond- both high quality pedals!
That kind of operation often requires a fuse swap as well.
Care to elaborate on the "intermittent noise issues"?
I'm getting a replacement YBA100 for just that reason.
Full props to Lomax Sound and Yorkville/Traynor Inc. for excellent customer service after the sale.

I have internet noise issues. Lot's of ill-informed, poorly founded, hyperbolic opinions...
Could yoou keep us (poor dealerless guys'n'girls) updated on how that turns out, please?

2 things I’ve experienced;
One is a low-level fuzz / buzz / distortion.
It’s coming through the audio, through the speaker It happens at the attack of the note, fades then stops as the note decays. It doesn’t seem to affect the fundamental. This symptom is continuous.
This happens at moderate gain & master levels – it’s NOT caused by “driving” the preamp or power sections.
The other issue is an intermittent static / crackling noise.
The crackling persisted with or without input, and even with Gain & Master both at 0.
Both issues occurred before and after swapping out all 7 tubes yesterday– so it’s unlikely that it’s a tube issue.

+24% VAT adding up to 960ish EUR. Still a bit less than an Ampeg PF50T here currently. Like those above, I'm interested in hearing how the voltage conversion works although by the time I could afford a new amp I sure hope there's a more local distributor around...

I haven't fudged with the tubes in mine at all, and yesterday I was having the same experience. I was playing and wondering what that noise was, like I was picking up squelch through my pickups. The "noise" would fade out once I stopped playing, like it was on a quick delay.
After reading your post, I went and tested it again, now it's not doing that. Odd, but something I'll keep looking for.
Crackling/buzzing with or without input was my issue. They thought it was the power tubes but I just swapped for a new one. Exchange it!
I'm jealous of all you new owners but it is beginning to sound like there may be some minor "teething '' issues with a few of the first run heads . This isn't really surprising given the interrupted production and supply chain issues caused by the Covid virus . It is easy also to imagine that the electronic bits coming from second party producers may not have been produced originally , with the same quality control as was available pre virus days . This may be leading to the intermittent noise issues a couple of folks have mentioned . Of course I am 'speculating ' and as Traynor is obviously , standing behind their product with great customer service - hopefully . this is a very minor issue that can be easily remedy'd . ....
