The number written on the master dial are conterclock wise of the hour of the police call of the neighbors...Moderate volume means that the neighbours only complain after 10pm, right?

Wow! I can see a YBA300 in someone's future.
Dunno, but will check the papers ...
Sorry, forgot to answer: 850 CADHi,
any chance you have been able to check the papers? Thank you
Sorry, forgot to answer: 850 CAD
Nah, I payed an earlybird price probably, 850. I can't find any additional costs ...The LM webpage lists the amp for 899 CAD.
Does it mean that the shipping costs and customs/taxes almost doubled the price of the amp?

That would be great, if LM delivered to Europe with no additional shipping costs...and the delivery would be free of customs and taxes.
But it sounds to good to be true...
The sender is not responsible for customs and taxes, you are. (I can not comment on shipping, that's their decision of course.) Anyway, your taxes should be the standard VAT in your country, should be 21% in Czech Republic, right? Customs fee should hopefully be 0% as I think that's EU wide and to my best knowledge it is 0 here in Finland (for an amplifier that is.) So if you order a YBA 100 from outside EU and the seller charges you X amount for the amp and Y shipping you end up paying (X+Y)*1.21 in total. Plus currency conversion.
If your shipment somehow ends up slipping through local customs you were lucky and did not have to pay the 21% VAT.
That would be my understanding too.
The fact that SVTII apparently didn’t pay any additional costs confuses me...
Yep, correct, VAT is 21% here...
The VAT also varies within the EU. In Germany it is currently 16% until the end of this year and 19% in 2021. If your are importing something you have to pay the import tax for 19% (and customs which is 3,7% for musical instruments). However, at least german customs also charge the import tax and customs on the shipping charge
Yes, but I didn't find any other papers in my chaos ;-)Also since SVTII quoted "850 CAD" it is my guess that these "papers" was the invoice/receipt from the seller and the taxes or customs duties if any were settled separately with the courier company or local Post/Customs officials.
