New: Zoom B3n Multi-Effects

Soooo good having the fliptop!

Is the Glam Comp a model of the Diamond Bass Comp (BCP-1?)

This is such a great tool. And not just "for the price".

I found it hard to find the sweet spot on the comps so ended up spending the big bucks on an empress... Before that I was using the 76 on the B3N...

Diamond would be cool though - has a bit of spice added to the compression.

Hot damn - good times.

I thought of something I wish I could do with the B3n - send one output with a cab sim (say to FOH) and another without cab sim (say to my amp/cab for stage volume)

Splitting hairs at this point though.

If you're going all-in with the B3n as your FOH sound, you can replace your bass amp with a powered PA speaker. There are quite a few options in this area these days, many of the good ones outperform typical bass rigs in price/performance ratio too!

Hey Guys, new user here. Just got my unit upgraded to v2.0. I can't figure out how to by-pass the selected pedal sound. I tried holding down the tuner pad but it doesn't send me back to my dry amp signal. The only way I can figure is to select an empty patch. What am I missing here? thanks

I think an empty patch is your best bet for a dry patch. I believe there is a tuner setting that acts as a bypass. Check in the menu settings.

ok, I got it...you have to press stomp 1 button in addition to the hold for tuner. this gives you your dry tone but the tuner is activated...so I think you're right, the best bet will be setting up empty patches..

Boy, is thing fun!...guess I'm not getting much done today!
Make sure you download the new Guitar Lab if you haven’t already. Even more fun!

1/4" out of your bass into the DI, 1/4" out of the DI into your amp. The DI basically becomes a lump in your cable that taps off a low impedance balanced XLR output impersonating a mic to feed the PA
thanks, buck. good to know if/when i ever send to a mixer or PA. and apparently there's no need of TRS in that chain.

but where is the B3n in this chain? earlier posts lamented the fact that the B3n had no XLR out (thus B3n is not a DI in and of itself?), so placing a DI between the B3n and the amp is needed for cleaner signal? and so my original question was about the XLR out of the DI . . . that's just a mic cable? XLR to TS (1/4")?
