Heck, I just want the horrendous bug in the pitch shifter fixedI really hope they will bring something new for the b3n. At least to demonstrate they are not that kind of company that abandon their customers once they have a new hardware.

So, how do you all keep consistent volume between patches? Do you adjust the patch volume? Or adjust individual effects and keep patch volume at 100 on all patches?
If I'm using my B3n into a combo amp, should I bother with cab modelling?

Sorry if I'm asking questions that have already come up earlier in the thread.
In the end, try it both ways and use your ears. What is your bass combo amp?
Can I chime in? I played through an MS60b into a Zoom B3n for a number of years and absolutely loved my tone! Then I played through a Helix Stomp. Game changed. I have since moved up to a Helix LT. The depth of tones you get from the Helix platform is unbelievable! Is it worth the extra cash? Not sure on that one, but it was enough of a difference that I took the plunge.Seeing you are on this thread.. and seem to have experience of the Helix... in terms of amp and cab sims - is there much difference in quality between the two? In the way the amp models on the B3n are noticeably better than the B3 - is there similar differences between B3n and Helix?
If you use a separate or isolated power supply you should be ok. Daisy chaining the B3n with anything results in noise.I know this has been asked before, but couldn't find the old answers: how does the pedal behaves along analog pedals? Any weird noise? I want to use a TC Electronic Spark Booster before the B3n. I like most of the sounds in the Zoom, except for low gain/mild distortion (it works great in medium to high gain)
The cabinet I have takes only 1/4", which is why I posted that particular cable .Thanks for the feedback though.![]()
Yeah I found that out the hard way...whhhhhiiiiiineeeeeI know this has been asked before, but couldn't find the old answers: how does the pedal behaves along analog pedals? Any weird noise? Zoom are releasing a new B1 Four and B1X Four at NAMM. They are an update to the B1on and B1xon.
I haven't used that effect in any of my patches. I'm more of just an amp sim plus maybe a chorus added. What is the bug?Heck, I just want the horrendous bug in the pitch shifter fixed.

Will try, I've noticed the Acoustic can be pushed, but didn't pay a lot of attention to the SVT. As soon as I grab some fresh strings I will give it a spin. Thanks! Are you using the B3n for amp modeling? If not, try using one of the amp models that can overdrive when pushed. Off the top of my head I'm sure the SVT and the Acoustic amp models will overdrive nicely for a mild distortion.
I have the same question about the pitch shifter bug. I use it in a couple of patches (1 is a half step drop, the other a whole step drop) and haven't had any issue with it.
I'm not sure about the pitch shifting but I think the octave probably recreates some of the glitches of the Boss OC 2?on the pitch or octaves i get a glitchy sound here and there. but here again I just got my b3n and never have done any updates.
I was also hoping for a B3nX realease. seems like ill have to buy that expression pedal too

Maybe it’s just me, but I find pitch shift effects to be Zoom’s weakest area. On guitar, as well as bass.I'm not sure about the pitch shifting but I think the octave probably recreates some of the glitches of the Boss OC 2?
