I'm not a Chiefs fan, and I didn't watch the game. So I'm not mad at all. I was made aware of this by two friends who did watch it and are neutral when it comes to the Chiefs. But if you're gonna do whataboutism, were there really no other close calls that didn't go the Chiefs' way? And did any of the calls you mention have the same impact of a 40+-yard penalty that would have placed KC inside the Pack's 10-yard line with under a minute left? I think my point stands.

I have always had a bad taste over the Bengals, who I think of as fake Browns. But I'm right with you about rooting for them so long as Browning is their QB. I'm happy to see that he's in the NFL and even happier to see that he's actually pretty good. Maybe he will get a shot at being a starter somewhere if he fills in well with the Bengals.I may regret this, but with Jake Browning at QB, I am a Bengal fan. He was so great at UW, it feels good to see him go 32/37 for 354 yards tonight with a rushing TD as well while helping lead his team to a win. I'm jealous that Jake Browning as a backup is better than Kenny Pickett ever will be.
It's exciting to watch a coach and a team with a plan that plays aggressively from whistle to whistle. I'm jealous for that as well. The clock management, wow. The idea to call timeouts while on defense to save the clock to try and score, what a novel idea.

AFC South is still pretty tight. So is my NFC South. You guys are miles better than the Colts so I think your threat is that the Texans keep winning. I think the Jags are better but that’s a close race right now.

There are more than few Steelers fans hoping for a loss to the miserable Pats. Back-to-back embarrassments might be the the last straw that results in Tomlin's "retirement".
I'm just saying there's 3 bad calls that benefitted the Chiefs and one non-call that went against the Chiefs in that last minute. But everyone's bitching about the PI non-call.
There's the 15 yard unnecessary roughness call at 57 seconds, the lack of a 10 second runoff at 50 seconds after the review of the Rice reception and the clock stopping at 19 seconds when MVS went backwards out of bounds.
Plus the Packers had a ticky-tack PI call on them earlier that everyone seems to have forgotten about- but they got away with this one

Yes, I was at the game, and as soon as the Eagles settled for field goals on the first two possessions, I knew we were in trouble. I wasn't surprised, because I had watched the Niners-Seahawks game on Thanksgiving night, and had seen how dominant the Niners could be. The Eagles, despite their record, have not played well enough to beat that version of the Niners, and that's the version that arrived in Philly.
It's mostly about our defense. The offense should be fine, and if we beat Dallas this week, there will be happiness in Philadelphia.

Seriously, though, the article reports the employee in question was in their financial department so that would have made it easier for them to hide/obscure the theft. It's not like there's a pile of cash and gold in a vault somewhere that someone is going to notice missing, it's all just numbers in ledgers and if the people providing you the ledgers are the ones committing the theft you don't know it's been stolen. It *does* underscore the need for the use of separation of duties, internally, and regular outside audits. The former are better practices though not consistently implemented while the latter are required of publicly traded companies (and also a better practice even for private ones). Since NFL teams are private companies (with the exception of Green Bay, I guess) they might skimp on those audits for whatever reason.
I've held various positions in IT for the same Fortune 500 financial svcs firm for over 40 years now and have seen all kinds of things - including a staffer that embezzled 6 figures to feed a gambling habit they developed once casinos opened up in the region. They were found out after a new system replaced the old one they'd learned how to manipulate (like within 2 months of the system going in).
22 million in only 4 years for a relatively small business like an NFL team does seem like a lot, though. Says to me some lousy (mis)management across the board (or collusion).
