I don't know what the final score will be, but we'll see Tomlin standing at a podium after the game telling us how the strength of the pack is the pack, how he doesn't live in his fears, and how they need to execute better.

My team gets no respect. No respect at all. (50s + people will get that)
I just listened to a long discussion of this weeks "power rankings" according to someone. Dallas 4th, Miami 8th. Reasoning was the Dolphins haven't beaten a winning team. Newsflash! Neither have the Cowboys!

The Dolphins? Do they have anyone good?
:D

Hey, they're 7-5 and in the playoff picture. It's not all bad.

You're a better man than me. I can't let go of my college likes/dislikes once they move on to the NFL.

I look forward to watching Jake Browning (Bengals) vs. Gardner Minshew (Colts) this weekend. A dawg/Coug rematch is always worth watching.

They only met once, in the 2018 Apple Cup...in the darndest snowstorm I've ever seen in Pullman. The stadium and about a mile around it had a blizzard going, which helped kill the Cougs' passing game. Outside that narrow circle there was no snow! It was like god decided to mess with the Leach offense by calling in a blizzard over the stadium.

That's one way to look at it.
The other is that if they squeeze into the playoffs due to other teams defaulting out, they will lose in the first round. The Steelers won't win another playoff game with Mike Tomlin as head coach. Ain't gonna happen. Make the playoffs? Maybe.
Come NFL draft time, they'll be stuck with another later first round pick, which will be a fair to average NFL player. Thus, the cycle of being 'not bad' continues.
But then they are stuck where they are, not bad. Not bad means not good and not going to get good. Stuck at not bad, which Tomlin has conditioned thousands of fans to believe is the standard.
'Oh, look at all the games he won despite a bad OC and a second year QB'. 'Look how well he did despite injuries to key players'.
Nope, that isn't it at all. This team won games the past 17 years because of the players on the field. As they slowly retired, we now see the team was winning despite Tomlin, not because of him. Ben was the last player of that group. Now, they have no one outside TJ, Cam, Highsmith, Warren, and Minkah on days he decides to play for 60 minutes. The two guys from Georgia and JPJ have a shot at being legit NFL stars, but the Rooney's need to clean house from Tomlin down for it to have any chance. But that ain't ever going to happen as long as fans by the thousands pile into Heinz Field on Sunday's to watch a team that was good 15 years ago.

Well, I hope all those calling for Pickett to be benched in favor of Trubisky are happy. They might as well give Rudolph a shot next week.

Who the hell called those plays on the last series? 4th and 2 and throw have your crappy QB throw a bomb to butterfingers DJ. Brilliant.

Tomlin is talking right now. The only thing I want him to say is "I really don't have a clue and I resign".

For those who think maybe I'm too critical of Tomlin, overly cynical of a man who has never had a losing season as an NFL head coach, this is for you.....
During the post game interview reporters were asking him about some of the game decisions. These are exactly his words.....'This is who we are. This is what we do'.
To be noted, that now includes being the first team ever in NFL history to have a winning record and lose two games to two different teams eight games under 500 in the same season.

Down 2 scores and Tru makes a breakaway and slides 2 yards short of the make, 6 yards short of a TD. Just didn’t want to risk getting hit.
That’s a mistake but it’s pretty common and maybe he thought he had it.

But the “no look” Hail Mary goofball pass? When Pittsburgh needed a yard? Tomlin!? Come on. I don’t have a dog in that race but sorry, Steelers played a dumb game today. I know some key guys were out but…
