There have been so many stories like Rudolph that I don't get.
Rudolph played well in the games he started. Then the starter comes back and he doesn't get another chance.
Tebow took a struggling Bronco team to a division championship a and a playoff win. Then is gone.
Foles took the Eagles to their first Super Bowl win and the next year he's not on the team.
I don't get it.
In the case of Foles and Rudolph, they didn't sell tickets and jerseys. Tebow did, but I don't think playing in the NFL until he couldn't walk anymore was part of his life plans.

How far has Russell Wilson fallen if he can't beat out Crab Legs to start for the Giants?

-Mike
When did he get married? I think getting laid ruined his career.

Seems like Bo Nix is the real deal. The Broncos have now beat both teams from last year's Super Bowl. Impressive.
Smart move by the Broncos to bring in Payton to coach him up

-Mike
Payton did say Nix was the guy he wanted, not just the one he had to settle for. It’s hard to argue with his track record, if you let him pick his QB anyway.

Last year’s QB class also appears to be living up to the hype. It already seems like the best since 83.

Aaron Rogers had to leave the game at half time with a hand injury (we all knew it was just a matter of time before something like that would happen). Mason Rudolph, cold off the bench, not only sealed the win, but was statistically a bit better than Rogers. The Bengals defense is truly dreadful, so I'm not sure how much we can take away from this.

Meanwhile in Cleveland, Shedeur Sanders confirmed why he was a a fifth round draft pick. Still, the Ravens looked very beatable, so the AFC North should be interesting for while yet.

He was married when he was with the Seahawks. She didn't last. Now he's married to a pop star. The first one wasn't a celeb. I guess that wasn't good enough for him.
He was initially married when he joined the Hawks, that ended very shortly after.
He then dated the pop star, thats when he was holding out til they got married. Once married he started going downhill.

Not to overreact to a few bad games, but Dan Campbell needs to learn there’s a time to work smarter, instead of harder. Going for it now on every fourth down is just as bad a strategy as never going for it.
Agreed. When I played Madden, I rarely punted. That was fun, but kind of reckless.

Shedeur Sanders has never practiced with the 1st team.
That is coaching malpractice.

I hope he overcomes it and does well. He got drafted late and buried on the depth chart with no whining or ego. It makes me root for him.
I like that Sanders too, but I think he's doomed just like any young QB that lands in Pittsburgh. Neither team has any kind of coach or staff on the roster to develop a QB. Until they do, each team will cycle through random veteran QB's as young guys come and go, never getting the right coaching to develop into what they were expected to be.

If Sanders starts this week, he's be the 42nd starting QB for the Browns since 1999. Tomlin will be long gone before the Steelers reach that level of ineptness. :D
