I don't watch too many games any given year, but I did watch both Seahawks playoff games so far. The Rams just have the Seahawks defense figured out. I don't know what they do different from anybody else, but the Rams seem to be the one team the Seahawks always struggle with. I'll take a little dumb luck every so often. If it wasn't for the muffed punt, the Rams may have won. Then again, if it wasn't for the taunting incident, the Seahawks might have made it less interesting at the end.

I'll take it. Just run the ball at the one this time around. Walker isn't Lynch, so maybe put in one for Barner, or maybe a lineman like the Bears did.

The Evil Empire will always be the Evil Empire. Guilt by association. I will never be happy seeing a good Pats team.
If you haven't followed the threads for the last ? years I'm a HUGE Dolphins fan. So I am sick of Pats, Pats, Pats. The Bills are reaching that plateau of hatred too.
The Bills are reaching that plateau because if failing in the playoffs year after year. I really would like to see Josh Allen get a Super Bowl ring but time is running out.

Walker isn't Lynch, but Lynch never had that juke move Walker breaks ankles with. Add in that Walker will run you over and not stop churning his legs until the whistle blows and that Patriot defense is in for a different look than they got from that Denver run game.
I watched that Seattle game last night and can't for the life of me understand why LA didn't kick the field goal to go down by one with five-ish minutes left. Brady was 100% right on what happened on that fourth down. The Rams expected Seattle to send the house and instead they dropped nine guys back into coverage. At the four yard line with nine guys in coverage, you can't even throw a fade. You ain't gonna get a TD pass off unless you're throwing to Randy Moss or Jerry Rice.

Way to go Seahawks. I'm happy for my buddies back in Washington.
New England, well you backed into this one. Maybe that oblique injury will catch up with Darnold and he'll have to sit out the Super Bowl, you can hope. 😂

We've seen this story before with the Bill's. 1990 Superbowl loss to the Giants, 1991 Superbowl loss to the Redskins, 1992 Superbowl loss to the Cowboys and 1993 Superbowl a loss to the Cowboys. After that they had to reset which took nearly 7 years.

Unfortunately for them, the Chiefs were around and the postseason failures continued for 4 straight years.

The Broncos have entered the chat.

Is it time for another Bill's reset?

Not quite yet. The Steelers are going to run it back with Rodgers next season and maybe the one after that. If Allen can stay with Buffalo until that time, then the Steelers will gladly take him after he gets cut by Buffalo as part of their reset.

If I step on some toes I apologize, but I’m for anyone except the Patriots. Just tired of the Patriots, Robert Kraft, etc. Besides that, with the amount of times that Sam Darnold has been passed around from team to team, I really hope he wins his first Super Bowl this year.
We're tired of Robert Craft too! His son tried to carpetbag himself into a mayoral candidate, and had to withdraw due to imperceptible support vs a mayor who is more popular than Menino was. ANYway, hating rival teams is healthy and weird, but normal, and it builds inter-squad cohesion. I was just trying to do a Bill Burr parody.

I REALLY would like to see Allen get a SB win. I like him as a story, I like him as a player and I like him as a man.

Unfortunately, the Bills look seemingly like a house of cards in a hurricane. We'll see how their off season plays out. The Pats went back to back 4 win seasons to the Superbowl off one excellent draft so who knows?

The Vrabe factor can't be overstated, the Pats just went undefeated on the road for an entire season. Say what you will, that is an impressive stat for any team. The Pats have always been my sweet poison. Brady is a Michegan guy so that softened the hate factor JUST ENOUGH.

Now Vrabes.

The Love/Hate continues.

All the Patriot fanbois up here keep going on about how it doesn't matter they played a weak schedule since they're in the Super Bowl, but yes it does matter.
I'm not suggesting the Seahawks offense is packed with all stars, but they have a few legit weapons and everyone on that team blocks. The Seahawks defense can get after you too. I didn't watch all 16 Patriot games this year, but I'm fairly comfortable saying this Seattle team will be the best one they've seen all year.
I like Drake Maye, maybe he can pull it off.

I've always wondered why teams don't have a lineman practice and be used to carrying the ball like the Bears did with Perry. He was always good for a couple yards. And that's all they asked of him.

The other analysis is to ask why LA didn't go for two when they scored their last touchdown. Get the two and a field goal ties it. Don't get the two and it doesn't matter because you still need another touchdown. I am convinced that was the championship game. Neither the Seahawks nor the Patriots will approach the Superbowl as an afterthought, but the real title fight for this season was yesterday.

I was amused by McDonald's comment about the taunting penalty. He said he didn't remember it. There was an article about it in the newspaper this morning. Woolen admitted that it was a really dumb thing for him to have done. Some of the other players sure seem to be chewing him out on the bench. McDonald knew he didn't need to pile on.

I think it was JSN who said the Seahawks needed to throw the ball to Bobo so that the other team doesn't automatically think it's a run when he's in. Bobo and the rest of those guys, including JSN, get after blocking hard. I love seeing that from so-called skilled position players.

They threw it to Bobo yesterday. It worked out pretty well.

They all have their version of the tush push play now. I hope the NFL bans that play, it's so dumb.

If the Pats win the SB, will the Krafts sponsor a "Hookers & Blow/BluChew" game next season?
...and, will there be a Senior Discount?
Just askin'.

No soup for you. Seniors have to pay a 36% surcharge for supplemental health insurance, and blue pills are also on your nickel.

Shedeur to the Pro Bowl 🤣

Every other legit QB is injured or has declined to participate in this farce.
I read that he would have the lowest rating of any starting QB this year if he had actually played enough snaps, but I 'm not sure that's quite true. But hey, he's probably great at flag football!

They moved the event to Tuesday night. Even the NFL doesn't care about it. I used to go every year in Honolulu. The game was fun, and in a beautiful part of the world, which made it a nice break from the PNW winter. Events around town leading up to the game were fun too, and usually involved getting a chance to meet and interact with the players. The cool part was it was the week after the Super Bowl, so everyone was chill, players from the Super Bowl teams played in the game, and enjoying the last NFL event of the year.
We'd usually go early and watch the Super Bowl over there at a luau or some other cool event.
