No, we didn't spend much time there since the retailer we went there to work for was full of beans, putting it nicely. Ended up on the MS coastline for the rest of the duration.

Damn shame...TPB is a pretty impressive place, comparable to BC!

By the way, thanks for doing what you did there man, I still have family there (sister in Slidell, near mike_v_s) and I know what that place and those people went through. My father just cashed it all in and moved away - I feel a lot of folks will be doing that.

Yup! Got two tickets on the 35-yard line, 42 rows up, underneath the upper-deck... out of the Hawaiian sun... This is the 26th year for the Pro Bowl here in Paradise, and I've only missed it twice...

Alexander sat out the Pro Bowl today because of a foot injury. When asked how it happened, his reply was "I didn't even know it happened, but it swelled up."

I wonder if the Seahawks had won the SB, if that foot injury would not be such a big deal.

I'm hanging on to any NFL news I can, but I may have to come to the same conclusion you have.

So, I didn't know you were a Gonzaga fan. Very cool. I went to see them play against UDub earlier this season.

Well I'm bound to MSU and enjoy watching them play, but as far as teams that are on competition level Gonzaga seems pretty balanced. Ditto for Texas.

I dig watching them play and I can't stand hearing the hype about the top dogs (Duke and UConn). I liken it to the hype that overshadowed USC. I won't be buying a #3 Zag (Morrison) jersey anytime soon, but I could see myself buying a #3 Heat (Wade) jersey.

All they need to do is put consequences into his contract that make it very unwise to flap at the mouth about your team.

How about this: Edge is wanting to leave. I think Indy's office should keep him around, but in the chance he leaves several others are still the air. Deangelo Williams or Ray Lewis are the two I'm hoping for if Edge doesn't come back. Yeah Ray Lewis didn't have much of a comeback year, but he was playing for the Ravens and their just short of amazing O-line.

Dude man...no charge. I'd hook a brutha' up. I bet it's hard to find much gear with the Gonzaga logo on it down there.

I have to mail order all my UF, PSU, and Steelers gear. If it isn't a local team, or one popular with the gangsta's, I won't be able to buy it locally. Somehow, I don't think JoePa goes over too well with the thugz crowd.
