Oh please. You obviously did not watch the game. Ben only handed it off 18 times in that game. He drove the team down the field at the end of the game, and made a play with his arm to win it.

I wasn't talking about this one game. I was talking him on a whole. He fits in Pittsburgh because he doesn't try and throw more than 25 times a night.

Actually, it's because I have a non-TB LIFE on weekends (married, 4 kids). The only TB time I get is when I'm at work during the week, and I have a limited amount of that depending on how things are going 'round the shop (like, we're VERY busy the past couple weeks, and still are!). Seems that someone else was pretty silent on the smack talk a few months ago after his Turkeys got roasted under the 'Dome on MNF!

I watched the Saints/Bengals, and the Saints played like crap.

Two interceptions IN THE END ZONE??? One for a defensive touchdown???

Hey, it's great the Brees had a record-setting game, but how about WINNING it too???

The defense did better against the run this week, but man, our secondary reeked.

All that said, we still are well off, and AHEAD of someone's Turkeys - and we'll stay there!

I figured the Panthers would bounce back, I was just hoping the Saints wouldn't fall flat.

That said, the Saints have a pretty favorable schedule the rest of the way, and should be playing in January - unlike the Falcons.

Jive, do you have that paperbag that you obviously needed in the 90s as a Bears fan? I think I'm going to need it...

It's really two steps forward, five steps back... I thought we could give the Pats a hard time, but to get steamrolled, that was ugly. Luckily, I was watching the game next to some surly Patriot fan jackasses... that was fun :hmm: (I don't mean to imply that all Pats fans are jackasses, but this one guy definitely was).

Anyway, we can't seem to win at home, at least we're on the road next week.

Reminds me of a funny story. A friend of mine who is a Raiders fan went to the grocery store in OAK to buy a paper bag to wear for the game. He went into the store and they were sold out. :eek:

I wonder what would happen if I went to Lambeau wearing all my Bears paraphenalia and sold paper bags in the parking lot?

You want me to agree to disagree about my Steelers? NEVER!! What I am going to do is fly down to Starkville with game tape on every game Big Ben has played in Pittsburgh, and we are going to watch it together. I'll show you how good of a QB he really is. :D

Just kidding. I know what you mean. I don't think he would be as successful in the Indy, or even Cincy offense where he would be called upon to pass first. The Steelers have a proven history of drafting and signing players that fit into their system, and then making that player look great.

You take a guy like Peyton Manning, he is a great QB in any system. Big Ben is a product of the Steeler offense, and he fits in very well.

I've sat in Lambeau Field with Bears fans in full Bear regalia. We were polite to them and had a lot of fun. They told us we weren't so bad for Packer fans. Of course, it DID help that we smoked them that game. They kept telling us, "well, we have the Bulls".
(This was in 1997)

I actually think that would be A LOT of fun. It'd be a great time no matter if good (The Packers), or evil (Da Bears) prevailed. Unforutunatley, #1, I'm poor, and #2, I have a damn good paying NYE gig this year!
