If that was a late season game, I wonder if that was the game where GB held Sanders to -4 yds rushing. A sloppy December day I won't forget. Chances are though, the game you saw, he probably got 200+ yds rushing.

Don't destroy my dream of a Steelers/Giants Superbowl
I wouldn't mind that either, but I'm looking for a different result than the one that we had earlier this season!
Oh....how could I forget????
This is the week the Bungals get to exact revenge on Hines Ward for laying out Rivers. I'm anxious to see what they try on Hines. Knowing those boneheads, they'll screw it up, and then Marvin Lewis will act like he had no idea.

Alright....time to get going. We'll kick off week 12 by throwing a beatdown on the Bengals tonight.
Willie Parker came out this week and said he wants to get back to the familiar Steelers ground attack. Our OC is a lost cause, so this will have to be Tomlin's call. I hope he listens to Willie myself.

Cowboys placed Felix Jones on IR today. Torn ligament under his big toe. Done for the year.
That's a shame. That kid has game changing talent. Oh well, 2009 for Felix.

Well, no problem for the Steelers last night, they took care of the Bungals without any problems. A few observations that I found interesting....
No "revenge" was exacted on Hines Ward (but they did lay a HUGE hit on Santonio....clean hit, that's football)
Mewelde Moore got his chance (and did a great job) in the second half after Willie Parker was largely ineffective in the first half......I can't help but think that Willie just isn't 100% yet.
Yet another game for Big Ben to control the ball, control time of possesion, not throw any INT's, and generally lead the team to the win. Look's like he's getting it together as we head into a couple of difficult challenges in the coming weeks.
Steelers defense looked great again (yeah, I know, it was ONLY the Bungals, but the defense was still good).
Bungals said something about missing some guy that caught a pass once, uh, Chad something or other......oh well, it really doesn't matter.........one less criminal in the NFL for the time being.
Well, it's all downhill from here for me this weekend in the NFL........I'll watch some other games and scores, but I'm already looking forward to the Steelers game next week!

Same here. Time to start thinking about the Patriots. My wife will be the beneficiary of last nights game. We can do something on Sunday that doesn't have to be worked in around me watching the Steelers game.
So Big Ben looked just fine for another week. He made some huge plays last night. All the Ben haters out there still ready to bench him and start Lefty?
The defense is looking like one of the best Steeler defenses I have seen in years. 11 straight games giving up less than 300 yards total offense to an opponent.

IIRC, Richard Dent won the Super Bowl MVP that year. He's tied for the lowest salary on the list. Nice.
It seems to me that multiplying that those salaries by 10 wouldn't be too far off today's rates.

We now have the next 10 days off, and Ben hasn't been sacked for the last two weeks. Lots of time for Ben and others to heal up This is lining up just perfectly as we roll into the roughest four weeks of our schedule.

I'm likin' the sounds of that..........he really needs the time to get healthy......completely healthy, not just good enough to go for the next game. The Thursday game was a fast turnaround after the late game on Sunday, but now it may pay off very well.
Nice to see the Bucs show up after the 1st quarter. Man, that was a little scary
