There is one thing the Packers and Bears share in common......Jim McMahon.![]()
First off, I apologize joeyl if I have offended you.
I was reading the BS on ESPN, or NFL network (can't remember which one) where someone suggested that Favre end his career with a team that has a chance to go to the SB soon...and it was even suggested Chicago?
Hey we took McMahon...I wonder how Favre in a Bears uniform would fly with Bears fans? The Bear killer in a Bears uniform? That would be an insult...but you never know what can happen. Personally I can't see it happening, but if it did it would convert me over to being (I can't believe I'm saying this) a Bears fan.![]()
OMG, that would mean I would have to root for Favre.

[QUOTEBilly Low Yeah, but McMahon played with more attitude than ability!!! ]
OOPPS! That misspelling was pure blasphemy! I'm at work and I'm rushing!
Ya know, the thought of Favre playing for the Bears puts me that much closer to mid-life crisis. If it became a reality, it would accelerate it into overdrive.

I'll apologize for sounding like a whiner, but, if the Bears would 've had a decent defense during the Kramer years, I believe that offensive lineup was strong enough to have at least 1 SB, maybe 2. Not to say that Kramer was as good as Farve, But the O scheme was just as dominant as the rest of the division at that time. Remember, outside of Detroit, the NFC Central was the dominant division of the NFL in that time frame.
It's too bad, because Woolford and Carrier played well in the secondary.Yeah, Wanny was a bonehead! He didn't trade Armstrong BTW, they left him unprotected for the expansion draft; allong with Kenny Shed and that fullback/halfback from North western (don't remember his name). Don't forget about Robert Parrish! He did however allow Brian Cox to wreck shop on the locker room!
Unnotable Quotables from BC...
"There are some people who need to see the wizard; get some ba!!$, get some heart!"
"Every time I step on the field, I pretend that I'm a slave and I'm looking to kill my master!"
Oh yeah, Don't forget that Jeremy Lincoln fiasco!
Nah, not Darnell Autry, he was still in NW. This was the guy B4 Autry.
I believe Trace either went to Jacksonville or Carolina for a year or 2 B4 heading to Miami.
Anywho...GO BEARS!!!!

OK, I'm being trivial....................
Darnell Autry was drafted by Ditka, so he couldn't still be in NW.
I went and looked it up on bearshistory.com, and according to them Trace was traded to Miami.
Anyway
Go Bears!!!
