I definately agree! I lost a bunch of respect for Favre (Farve? - I had to do it, Pointbass!) over the way he handled things, but the Packers remain my NFC team of choice.

I'm still a Steelers fan first and foremost, always will be, but I've always liked the Packers.........I think we will see good things to come from them, and I think Rodgers is the way to go.

The Pack had a terrible season, the Jets pissed away their season. There are no "winners" in this group. I'd give Rodgers at least another year running a team before any kind of decision is made on him.

Favre made a rash decision, then changed his mind. We've all done that. I don't fault him for changing his mind, how can I? The only difference here is none of us are the best in the world at what we do, or are at least only one of 31 other people in the world who do it as a job.

He and his side of the family pronounce it "Far-vuh".

The CORRECT pronunciation of "Favre" is "Fav-ray". There is a reason they say it wrong...which I won't go into, but I will say he is NOT the guy the media is selling everyone. I'm sure most of the football thread regulars know of my experiences with Mr. Farvuh and his family...

Agree on all of this. The Packers organization has as similar Mentality and work ethic as The Steelers. Gotta love it.

I used to love Favre (Farve???) :p... Now I think he's a grade A media whore toolbag! I don't dislike the Jets, but it was nice to see him spearhead this season's demise. :scowl:

+1 on all this--except as a Dolphins fan, I hate the Jets! Ugh, so many obnoxious Jets fans in South Florida.:rollno:

Happy to see my Niners remove the interim tag in front of "Coach Singletary".

A great week to end the season IMO. The Niners have another comeback win.
