NFL Week #18 THE PLAYOFFS

I've spoken with him. He's gonna be ok, but it'll be a few days. :)

you know, i can't help but think that this was some kind of smaktalk karma, and not just from gard (although in all honesty he probably earned enough bad karma from his smacktalk this season to cause this to happen all on his own heh)

but the thing is, every saints fan i have encountered on any level this past year (and living in atlanta, there's a boatload of displaced NO folks living here) was at least as bad as gard on his worst, snarkiest most smakiest smaktalkin', if not -much much- worse.

it's like the smoking man just decided "enough is enough, send the saints home now".

I have to agree - most of my Saints fan friends are the most OBNOXIOUS smack talkers. I think it has to do with getting a snif of relevance after 40 years.... Although a friend of mine who's a Jets fan is equally bad. And that won't do around me :D

I took my son to his first Seahawks game ever today (he's 10). Wow - great seats, like 10 rows above the tunnel/endzone corner. Lynch flipped into the endzone after that long run about 50 feet in front of us.

Unbelievable - fans hugging each other all over the place after that.

*and yeah, I was able to score great seats from a co-worker who wasn't interested in going....but I think that fan-base is picking up some interest now. :eyebrow:

Glad to see my boys take down the Colts tonight even if it was only by 1 point.

I will be among the first to admit that Sanchez looked like crap tonight. He was constantly over throwing his receivers. As I said in an earlier post was they need to play disciplined ball, which they did, and pound it out on the ground, which they also did.

BTW, biggest bone head play IMO on the Jets tonight was him going deep in the 4th qtr on 3rd and 5. The play right before the Colts roughed the kicker. With that many people coming in on the blitz, he should've just went for the dump pass over the top and tried getting the first down. Just IMO of course.
