Well, I said it was unlikely but not impossible, and sure enough.
I can't comment because I didn't get to watch most of it. I had to go work on the HVAC system. Last play I saw I was screaming at the TV for the non-call on the offensive line when Sanchez threw the td pass to the left corner and when I came back there was like 2:00 minutes left.
Dropped passes didn't help, I saw that.
Anyway, congratulations Jets.

Part of it too could be that most UK guys have no dog in the race, as it were, sure you can pick teams to like, for various reasons, but that's more "a team you like", than "your team", if you get me.

Some folks do choose, though, you're right. Predictably, Man Utd (like about half of England and most of the USA folks claiming to be "soccer" fans who don't know any better). I'd hate to be a MUFC fan, the insincerity of support would really bug me. If I was a Manc, I'd be City all the way.

Anyway, back to the Jets triumphalism, guys. Whoop whoop!

Finally, a Bears/Packers game with more on the line than fans who hate each other.

But it will be no more important than another New England/Pittsburgh game as long as the Patriots wake up and put the Jets away. Yes, I know you don't care about anything besides beating Chicago, which is probably why you think this NFCCG is one of the most epic games in NFL history.

I just don't get how the historic battles between Chicago and Green Bay in the 40's and 50's matter in this game. Unless I am way off in my estimates, there is no one posting in these threads that is old enough to remember any of those games.

I think he meant, like, me, and epic Bears-Packers battle, not really an epic NFC championship, though it could be that. As a Steelers fan, I would think you would care more about your rich tradition as we do ours. Hell yea, I wear my 75th Year jacket and I'll probably buy something when they celebrate their 100th year in 10 years. I wear my Starr and Nitschke jerseys to games like a lot of guys do. Yea, it's called the Lombardi Trophy. Yea, it's called the Halas trophy. Our history is lost on NO Packer fan and it's part of us and sounds like something only we can understand. I laugh back at the posters here who minimize our 12 championships. They are what they are. Make of it, mock of it what you will.

I mean you have no dog in the NFL race, not the football race.

(Though it does seem you could quite easily become a Jets fan...
Then again, the Giants are also a NY team...)
