I think he meant, like, me, and epic Bears-Packers battle, not really an epic NFC championship, though it could be that. As a Steelers fan, I would think you would care more about your rich tradition as we do ours. Hell yea, I wear my 75th Year jacket and I'll probably buy something when they celebrate their 100th year in 10 years. I wear my Starr and Nitschke jerseys to games like a lot of guys do. Yea, it's called the Lombardi Trophy. Yea, it's called the Halas trophy. Our history is lost on NO Packer fan and it's part of us and sounds like something only we can understand. I laugh back at the posters here who minimize our 12 championships. They are what they are. Make of it, mock of it what you will.
A painful loss, and unfortunately we'll have to listen to that fat f--- Rex Ryan until next season, but the better team won tonight. All I can say now is - GO PACKERS!
No magic here -- the Bears are simply a better team than the Seahawks -- especially at home -- especially on 2 weeks rest. Combine that with the fact that the Seahawks played their Super Bowl last week and were mentally/emotionally spent, this game was never in doubt.![]()
Devin Hester wins.
To everyone that said there was no way in Hell the Jets would beat the Patriots today and to everyone that wrote them off. I only have one thing to say to all of you. "HA!"
Go Steelers!
...I did it to the Bears fan, I don't want to pick favorites.![]()
I just really hope that the Jets start getting a little credit where credit is due after tonight's win against the Patriots.
And congrats to Pete Carroll and the Seahawks. This is the exact kind of thing that a first-year coach can build on. 2 weeks ago, they were a laughingstock for making the playoffs at 7-9. A week later, they beat the SB champs -- and nobody is talking about 7-9 anymore.Congratulations to the Bears! And I agree. We are a 7-9 team in a re-building year after all...

They get plenty of credit, It's just that everyone wants to see them lose so Rex can shut his BIG mouth. But boy get he design a defense.

Wow, this hurts but here goes:
Congrats Jets fans, your team beat the Pats fair and square.
That said, I still hate your team and especially your coach and thug, gangsta player Cromartie. I pray that the Steelers destroy you next week, but personally a I don't really care 'cause I believe the Packers will win it all
Go Pack Go!
Man, the Patriots came out flat......where's my vodka and favorite bass?![]()
I kept rereading the sentence wondering why you were naming a Jet as a thug then praising the Steelers. I'm still confused.
Well sir, I guess it is because I heard all week the low-class Jets "lowering the bar" in terms of trash talk and then (as they proclaimed) they did back it up; can't say I heard anything from Pittsburgh seeing as I live in New England. You see, we don't get Pittsburgh talk radio here so I could not hear the bs from them.
Even if I didn't root for NE, I would listen to Rex Ryan and his minions and hate them for their arrogance and low class drivel. Talk like that after you have won something worth while like a Super Bowl.
