NHL 2013 post season thread!

Did anyone see the Bruins plane had a "malfunction" and couldn't leave Toronto last night?

“Late during tonight’s game we were made aware that there was a malfunction with our airplane. As a result we are staying in Toronto on Sunday night and the team will travel to Boston on Monday morning,” said Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli in a brief statement on the team’s website.

Yeah, right. Inside job for sure. Those old Bruins are going to be tired tonight. HAHA.

Some of the tweets regarding that are pretty funny.

Gettin' my Bergeron! Classic finish in Boston that I did not see coming. I came "this" close to turning the channel late in the 3rd period...glad I didn't - Yikes!

I'm sure only 3-4 of us on TB will give them credit for perseverance, but that's ok. Those "Old Bruins stuck in Toronto" showed a lot of heart.

A Rangers-Bruins playoff series is going to be nuts. Their regular season games are scrappy enough, I can't wait for this one.

Never would have imagined that the Rangers would walk into the Verizon Center and shutout the Caps in a game 7. Incredibly happy with that game, although it's slightly disconcerting that our main goal production is from our 3rd/4th liners.

I completely agree.Even though I'm nervous because your Rangers have played us very well this year.

What great match ups we have for the second round!

Wow. It was cheapshot city in Boston. Elbows to the face (causing bleeding), blatant interference, a punch to the face by Rask with his blocker, etc. If the refs had called SOMETHING, the Leafs would've won.

Just plainly disgusting. *shakes head*

I kept watching but only because I figured Toronto deserved that respect. Pretty amazing finish - the B's don't make it easy on themselves.

The Leafs remind me of the '03 Red Sox so I know exactly how the Toronto fans feel. They will be back next year and they will advance out of the second round.
