Conner I am indifferent about, but I like how Gibbons plays. He added some speed and depth to the team.

Just want to say I'm really bummed O'Reilly is going to arbitration with the Avs. He had such a good year and he's a great player. But at this point it's looking like he's probably gone first chance he gets.

Loved it when Bettman tried to make the funny about Philly being the City of Brotherly Love. He should a known.

So far most of the major signings have been out West. The East has been standing pat (such as the Flyers) or watching them leave (such as Pittsburgh). Next season should be interesting.

The rumor mill is alive with talk of Gretzky backing an NHL team in Seattle. As much as I like the NHL, please no.

Wings are a joke this offseason, resigning Kyle Quincey for a pay raise and bringing back Dan Cleary. They have some great kids but they aren't going to play as much. Lots of talk about trading for Mike Green or Tyler Myers, but Kenny Holland will likely overpay. It makes you wonder just how much Jim Nill actually did as assistant GM. At least the draft seemed to go well, and Mantha from last year should be a stud. Mrazek is going to be a franchise goalie in a couple of years as well.

I really hope they don't trade Jurco as I think he's going to be a good one. Sadly, I think Tatar is going to be the trade
bait. If they ship anyone out I think it should be Kindl.

Mike, don't be too sad about Engelland leaving, Calgary grossly overpaid him, they're going to regret that in the near future, imho.

Agreed, and it's going to drive up the price for Johanson.
