Pens just don't seem like they want to play today. Murray gets beat glove side high and on a rather pathethic shot on a turnover/break away.
I don't like the Pens but the total classlessness of the Flyer "fans" is disgusting. I hope they catch the perps and ban them for life in addition to arresting them for whatever charge fits-hopefully felonious!

Hey, as long as the Pens keep scoring eight goals a game, I'm sure they'll win the SC.

I agree about the fans. You should never throw anything onto the ice except when a hat trick is scored. No excuse for it, but I think I know why they did it. The two non-calls. The first when Couturier's feet were swept out from under him from behind, and the blatant cross-check that went uncalled just before a back-breaking goal was scored.I don't like the Pens but the total classlessness of the Flyer "fans" is disgusting. I had no problem with the 1st one. That one could have gone either way - penalty OR no-call. Couturier's feet were swept out from behind and he took a pretty hard fall, but the Pen was definitely going for the puck. Judgment call for sure.
But the 2nd one at the blue line was ridiculous. Away from the puck, and a blatant cross-check from behind. That's the non-call that caused the idiots to throw things. They knew that the resulting goal was the final nail in the coffin. Still a ridiculous, dangerous thing to do. Ban them from future games.
Pretty good game up until late when it all fell apart for the Flyers. Oh well, time to break out the golf clubs early once again. But I do like a lot about the Flyers moving forward. They have a lot of good, young talent. Provorov, Gostisbehare, Hagg, and Sanheim on the back end with several other promising D-men in the wings. Konecny and Patrick are both gonna' be good. Lindblom hasn't shown me much so far though. If they could only find a franchise-type goalie. They do think highly of 19-year old Carter Hart as possibly their goalie of the future.
All-in-all, an enjoyable post-season so far with lots of good hockey to come...

I think the only reason the trip on Couturier wasn’t called was because the ref would have had to call an embellishment penalty as well, lol
