Well, since the other choice was Laine, think Leafs made the right call.

Geez, the refs aren't calling anything against Washington. Orpik, Niskanen, and Orlov were holding, interfering, and flat out tackling guys with no call...especially during the last three minutes. Either way, Caps get the backdoor sweep.

I can’t even explain how excited I am. Leafs pull of another win against the Bruins for a game 7 showdown. All the pressure is on the Bruins at this point.
And lol, MJ, can’t wait to see the Pens humiliate the Caps once again.

Interesting fact...Since the Jets won their series against Minnesota, that leaves the Columbus Blue Jackets as the ONLY team in the NHL never to have won a playoff series. Been around since 2000-01.
Tortelini has "lost" every team he has coached. Lightning, Rangers, after a couple of years even the most ardent team first guys get sick of his antics.It woulda been "fun" to hear Tort post game!
