Brian Burke was saying tonight that he’s sure that the nhl will come down on him and the Bruins after this. It’s not what they want the league to be perceived as.

And as an old time hockey guy, I would literally have cold cocked him in the face if he gave me a big lick like he did Callahan tonight.
I’m almost more embarrassed for Callahan for not taking him out. You watch it, Marchand has both hands down and Callahan just gives him a little face wash. I would have pulled back an overhand right and knocked him out. Maybe I’d get a game misconduct, but you gotta wouldn’t have had to worry about that little rat for the rest of the game.

Worst part is, Marchand is such a good player, he doesn’t need to do that crap anymore. I get it’s his thing to be annoying, and try to draw penalties, but guys understand now what his game is. But someone needs to knock his a-s-s out and teach him a lesson.

The article that he wrote essentially said that he was born that way. He is most effective when he is near the line, occasionally that means he goes over it. He's been better about it this year, believe it or not. Regarding the licking, he knows he'l get called for so slightest retaliation, so the licking is so far a more tolerated form of retaliation. If you are close enough to get licked you are probably too close.

I'd like to see this series go to 7 where anything can happen, but Tampa Bay is looking like the better team.

Aw, crap. Letang picked a great time to stink up the ice, basically giving away the tying goal on a head-scratcher dumb play, and then the winnIng goal by leaving his guy alone in front. Terrible stupid plays.

And in typical Pittsburgh fashion, they always try to be too fancy instead of just shooting the damn puck. If you have 'Crosby' or 'Malkin' on the back of your jersey, then fine, make a play. Otherwise, just shoot the puck!

Pens actually played well enough to win, but Holtby was a stone wall. And Murray wasn't.

Total breakdown of the Pens in the third. Garbage period. They should have been able to come out with the win, but sh*t defense play and Murray just crapping the bed too. Deep hole to dig out of...

As I mentioned above, they played well, and at times looking like they were on a power play even though it was 5 on 5. Had plenty of chances, and they were making the Caps defense dizzy, they just couldn't put it behind Holtby.

I'm glad to see the Jets putting away the Predators. I happen to think the hype all around Nashville is blown out of proportion.
