NHL Season 2018-19

Sent a text to my son after the game. Can't paste it here due to content. Let's just say it went something like this...

How the heck do you cough up a 3-1 lead with less than 4 minutes to go, allow a flukey goal to tie it, dominate in OT, then allow them to score ANOTHER easy goal to snatch victory out of your hands? (Hint: Matt Murray is crap.)

Voracek's goal was either extremely skilled or extremely lucky. Either way is should have been stopped easily. Even Giroux's winning goal was one he should have stopped 99 times out of 100. Yeah, I know the Pens D was depleted, but c'mon guys, step it up.

I didnt blame him too much for Voracek's goal because it looked like JJ was blocking his view of the trajectory of the puck. But that OTG is unforgivable.
If Letang & Dumo miss more than a couple games, Pens are really screwed.

So how does the NHL give McDavid 2 games for what looked like a considerably less violent hit and let Simmonds skate (sorry, couldnt help myself) on that hit to Dumo? How does that make sense?

All punishments are fair and equal-just like FOX News.:rollno:

I forgot to record it, and missed the first period. But in the 2nd period and first part of the 3rd, I thought Matt Murray's play was outstanding. I was thinking to myself, "I'm not sure why the Pens fans are always so down on Murray. He always seems to be playing quite well when I see them". Murray WAS screened on Voracek's goal. And while he might have been able to stop Giroux's game-winner, give Giroux some credit. That little deke he gave before the shot wasn't bad.

No suspension, if that's what you mean. If you're wondering about trades, I guess we'll know tomorrow. Personally, he's been one of my favorite Flyers for years. I'd hate to see him go. There really aren't any other tough guys on the team, so he would leave a big void...
