They've played like they are mad they lost the Cup last spring...Another odd game for the B's. They started strong which they don't always do, but couldn't score (including one shot that got through the goalie and died on the ice 4 inches from the goal line for a good 3 seconds before it was cleared.) Then Chicago scored a shortie and a PP at the end of the first. Chicago scored early on the 2nd to go up 3-0. The B's climb back in (including a shortie) to tie it late. Chicago won in OT - they deserved the 2 points and the B's remain undefeated in regulation at home. I'll admit to being pretty discouraged at the end of the second and again when Chicago scored to open the 2nd, but this team figures out a way.
Your team is basically lapping the league and you were getting discouraged? Try being a Leaf's fan, we'll teach you how to be discouraged! LOLI'll admit to being pretty discouraged at the end of the second and again when Chicago scored to open the 2nd, but this team figures out a way.
He may have been sending a message to the GM that made that terrible trade. Heck, even I, an avowed Flyers hater, felt bad for you fans when that one went down. Shenn has been instrumental in the Blues success and has his name on the Cup...Lehtera, well he's now in the KHL. (Although you got Morgan Frost with one of those picks).Scratching someone who is good a hockey (Lindblom) for someone who is bad at hockey (Lethera) is gift wrapping a reason for the GM to fire you.
Nice way of relating that to another sportYour team is basically lapping the league and you were getting discouraged? Try being a Leaf's fan, we'll teach you how to be discouraged! LOL

Trade value might not be the problem in getting rid of him, his contract will be an issue. Most teams looking for a solid backup (which is what I see him as ) are up against cap issues, and can't justify spending starting money on a backup. We got us a goalie controversy in Pittsburgh. Jarry with back to back shutouts.
Please Rutherford, this is your chance to cut and run from Murray. He's a sham, always has been, and it's time he stops getting over on the Pens and the fans.
Problem is, everyone now knows how bad he is. Trade value is likely minimal.

The TV visible from my place on the stage had(ugh!) Fox news. Not even feetsball.Got to see alot of the game at a gig tonight. Unfortunately, a shorty and an OT penalty spelled doom.
I don't think anyone at the VFW knows a puck from Shinola.
