NHL Season 2019-20

Last night I was good either way. The 2 FL teams goin' at it. I cheer for both equally 'til one blows it.
I think Jarry's readiness to carry the load will be largely determined by what Murray can bring them. He's been solid in the starts I've seen.
Speaking of the Pens, I had the pleasure of seeing them be the latest (until last night, at least) team to grab wings fans by the shoulders, shake them violently and yell "you're team is really, really bad". Might take another month, but people around here are running low on denial.
On the plus side it was Grateful Dead night at the LCA, so the music was good and I got a cool jersey. Throw in a trip to Lafayette coney after the game and it's still fun to go to a wings game no matter how bad they are.
I'm actually looking forward to watching Caps/ Broons tonight. It seems like it's been since the playoffs that I've sat down and watched two good teams play each other.
A perfect to me hockey game in Pittsburgh tonight as the Pens win 1-0 in overtime.
Jarry starts another streak of minutes without allowing a goal. Previously he set the Pens record with 177 minutes of shutout hockey, then along came Montreal and Letang played like garbage.

Flyers are in a slide, after a very good November. Lots of injuries to key players.
The saddest is the Oscar Lindblom situation. He was either the team's top goal scorer or tied for the lead. He was playing great hockey this year. Unfortunately, he is out for the rest of the season after having been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Really sad.
Nolan Patrick has been out since last season dealing with concussion-related problems. Frequent migraines. Michael Raffl is on I.R. with a finger injury. Travis Konecny is also on I.R. dealing with concussion-related problems. They DID just got Scott Laughton back recently after a long recovery. He looks to be playing better than ever.
What was starting to look like a promising season is now going backwards.

The 'like' is that you posted this. Wow! Who knew?(obviously almost no one). Certainly wasn't known[publicly] during his time with the Panthers.
Wow, looks like Taylor Hall will be relocating to the desert. Still not finalized but it doesn't appear that the Yotes are giving up any current roster players, just picks and prospects.
I don't see him signing here long term, but no doubt he'll help out as a rental.

The Kings waived Ilya Kovalchuk today. I didn't even know he was in the NHL again.
