NHL Season 2019-20

I turned on the Pens game with 10:00 left in the third and watched a Pens team play flat footed, slow, disinterested, lackluster, and sloppy.
I have no idea how they got three goals and how they won that game.
Even the announcers weren't convinced. As time counted down they kept saying 'minutes left in regulation', as if they knew the Blues had a chance. One guy even said something about how the Blues are still hoping to get a point from the game tonight.
Cool to see Jarry with the shutout. He's slowly proving he's the right goalie for this team, especially since Murray has given up at least four goals in each of his last four starts.

The Avs have a farm team in Loveland? Sweet!
We'll be staying in Berthoud for almost three weeks starting Friday. We already have a Pioneers game on our schedule.

I know they are in Loveland the 21st and 22nd. It is their AHL team. Makes for easy move ups, Eh?
Who is Denver playing the night you have scheduled?
Colorado College.
It's the only home game while we're there, so we'll take it. College hockey is my favorite.
I would have loved to be in town for the UMass game since we went to many of those games when we lived in New Hampshire.

CC is Denver's big in state rival, those games typically get a bit rowdy. The sister game for that will be played in Colorado Springs at the World Arena

Yeah, I'm enjoying it while I can. With the Flyers, it's always just a matter of time before they (Re-)break my heart. (Sigh...)
But it's nice to see a decent mix of talent between the young guys and the old vets.
I watched the first period and the Pens came out flying. Seemed like they held the puck for the first half of the period, and it always helps when you score 39 seconds into the game. Heck, even Malkin looked inspired!
Jarry was sharp when he needed to be, and the backchecking was something we rarely see from our guys. I tuned back in for the last few minutes of the 2nd to see Noesen(who?) net his first goal with some pretty slick stickwork. Obviously the tempo must have changed by the time you tuned in but the game definitely started out on a positive note. And I agree with you regarding Jarry over Murray.
In recent memory we are all shell shocked from the Dave Hakstol era. Sheesh he was a terrible head coach

Scratching someone who is good a hockey (Lindblom) for someone who is bad at hockey (Lethera) is gift wrapping a reason for the GM to fire you.But he made such wonderful decisions.

Another odd game for the B's. They started strong which they don't always do, but couldn't score (including one shot that got through the goalie and died on the ice 4 inches from the goal line for a good 3 seconds before it was cleared.) Then Chicago scored a shortie and a PP at the end of the first. Chicago scored early on the 2nd to go up 3-0. The B's climb back in (including a shortie) to tie it late. Chicago won in OT - they deserved the 2 points and the B's remain undefeated in regulation at home. I'll admit to being pretty discouraged at the end of the second and again when Chicago scored to open the 2nd, but this team figures out a way.
