Could be, I'm used to hearing them call for a penalty every time a Bruin breathes near a Hab, but they were making noise before the pass went to the shooter.

A Canadian got called for a very soft penalty, seldom see that.

3-1 B's at end on 1st. Marchand with the backhand on a turnover. I expect Montreal to come out flying in the 2nd.

Babs is what I like to think of as a "pickup truck" coach who was given a team of sports cars to coach. There was a definite disconnect between what he believes a team should consist of and the GM's vision of what a team should contain. He sure did help in establishing a winning environment for the young players he was coaching, but his tactics got old really fast with these young players he was given. You could tell in recent weeks that he had lost the room, it was only a matter of time.
Time will tell if the GM was correct in his assessment of the direction the league is going and how is team is lined up to meet that challenge. So far, they are 2-0 under the new coach.

What an onslaught! Malkin had another 5-point night (2 goals & 3 assists). I think Guentzel had 4 points (2 and 2). And to make it a perfect night for Mike, Murray got chased... ;):D

Hmm, the Edit button is not available when I logged back in to amend the above post...
My point is that from what I can gather, Bill Peters does not seem to make a lot of friends wherever he goes. He comes across as abrasive and gruff, and evidently will not win any popularity contests. So if he is as unpopular as I've read, why wouldn't this and/or other transgressions have been brought up the minute he was hired as an NHL coach years ago? Just wonderin' out loud.
