NHL Season 2019-20

Gotta give credit where it's due, and Matt Murray deserves the nod last night. Montreal had numerous good opportunities and MM shut the door on all but one of them. I don't know if the Pens are still getting their feet wet or if Montreal is playing over their heads, but these games have been more of a nail-biter than I was hoping for. Pens have had some chances, too, but Carey Price has been nothing short of amazing these two games.

Wondering if that's the last time we see King Henrik wearing the blueshirt. They've got two up-and-coming netminders who should be playing starters minutes, so it will be an interesting situation in the off-season. Another Fleury/Murray similar situation? In with the new, out with the old (and expensive)?
My guess is that he'll have a gig-somewhere-if he wants it. Or he could just translate for The Muppets.

As good a game as I have seen them play this year. Except for Korpisalo the score would have been way more lopsided. He was just outstanding in both games so far.
Agreed, except I think that the Leafs have made him look better than he is. If they could find anyone on their roster willing to stand up in the crease and make his life difficult, things would be easier for the Leafs.

Pens blow a 3-1 lead last night and are now on the brink of getting back onto the golf course. Give credit to Montreal, but no way a team with the Pens' experience and pedigree should blow a lead like that in a playoff game. I was very leery of the pundits saying the Pens would roll through the 12th-seeded Habs prior to the start of these games and now you know why. Sullivan needs to start benching players who aren't giving the max effort every shift.

On the other hand, props to the other 12th seed Blackhawks for their late comeback against the Oilers. Two goals in the last six minutes.

In a short series, Price is more than capable of being a difference maker.....we saw that in game 1, and even to a lesser extent last night.

Outta curiosity, how many pundits were on the ice? And would that constitute a "too many men" penalty?

Did anyone see the Dallas Stars (my team) lose 0-4? I know the Colorado Avs scored the goals, but the Stars just stood back and let them.
It was embarrassing. I felt bad for the goaltender Khudobin. The Stars used to be known as a defensive team.
Also, apparently the Stars don't believe in shooting.
