Yeah, they got lucky with Tanev's goal, but they played well enough throughout the game and deserved that lucky bounce, IMO.
Sid always seems to raise his game one more level of awesomeness when he plays against his friend and fellow Nova Scotian MacKinnon, and last night was no exception. 87 put on an exhibition with some of his plays and passes.
I had to laugh to myself when MacKinnon scored (where else? glove side high!) to tie it at 2...knowing that somewhere out there a certain TB member was likely spitting nails. And rightfully so!

Neal has acquitted himself quite nicely to the Oilers lineup.

Didn't get to watch the game, but from the Avs perspective it was good, especially being on the roadAs a Panthers fan, I was less than pleased.

Quite a game....Freddie earned that one by himself. Leafs are a fast exciting team to watch this year, but I have seen nothing to give me any confidence in a playoff run. It is one thing to beat the B's in a one game shootout, but do not see that translating to a seven game series. And somewhere along the way, they WILL run into a bigger, heavier club. And it will end just like the last three years have. Sigh...
Boston left a lot of garbage on the porch too. But when you get out shot by 20 and win, yeah that's a goalie night...
