.....And at the prices they charge, I'm drinking it.
Yeah, that sure looked like it was over the goal line but being it was obscured by the glove it was inconclusive. Still, the officials spent enough time looking at it over and over, so it was a tough call. Wished the Pens could have prevailed but I have no problem with the decision. What a crazy ending to the PIT/TB game. I'm bummed it didn't go the way I wanted it to , but wow was that exciting.
The Pens couldn't play defense, but they kept coming at Tampa till the final clock hit 00:00. Some nights, that's not enough though. This was one of them.

Just outta curiosity, who's on the ice? Babs or the players? The kettle is starting to bubble in Leaf land! Rumours of Bab's demise, players talking about "Not good enough"....

Oh.That ain't good.Talk is that he has lost the room....

They lose a game or two and the local townsfolk get out the pitchforks and torches.....then they win one and the parade is on again. I guess 50 odd years of futility have that effect on a fanbase. But I do think there is some real concern that Babs may have lost this team. He has preached the same thing for 5 seasons now, and it is still pretty much his way or the highway, that tends to wear a bit thin after a while. He is a great Team Canada coach, but "less accomplished" shall we say with a less than perfect lineup. I think the real disconnect is between him and Du(m)bas(s), not sure Babs can adapt his coaching to get the most out of players that do not fit his perfect mold.Colorado hit 40 shots and tallied 5 unanswered in Vegas, Bellemare leading the way against his old team
@GoLeafsGo tell us more about the tales of woe from Toronto. Getting effigy burnings prepared or what? Jerseys on the ice from the stands again?
Hopefully, Patches can keep up his preseason form once the real games start. Three points the other day and it's like he remembered that he actually knows how to hockey. I still like Vegas again.
I know that there must have been a time when the Wings' odds to win the cup were that bad, but I was much too young then to remember them. Brutal.

Ha, they are looking much better than the Devils right now!Also... let's go Islanders. Wishful thinking right?!
That is very true. Hughes needs a little time to adjust. I think he's gonna be a monsterHa, they are looking much better than the Devils right now!
Hmmmm….think someone might still be a little bitter....I always will think that the odd for Toronto to win are hilarious. They spent half their cap on 4 guys... one who grossly underperforms (nylander) and one who plays ZERO defense and doesn't backcheck (Tavares).... they have a slice of Swiss cheese for a defensive core and a goalie is just okay. That won't win a cup.
