NHL Season 2019-20

In Murray's defense, he only let in one goal...the other two were empty-netters. Still, which goalie looked better and more confident throughout the game? (Hint: It wasn't the current Penguin goalie.)

Colorado is looking more and more like the real deal. I knew they've made some big strides over the past few seasons, but didn't think they'd reached the height they're at now. It's early, of course, but it looks like they could be the team out of the West.

Bills QB Josh Allen wore a Sabres jersey to the game yesterday.
Pretty cool. Oh, what's that? Tied for first in the league?
Yeah, Yeah I know. But when you're a Buffalo fan, you take what you can get.
Hmm. So should one wear a Panthers sweater to a Dolphins game or a Dolphins jersey to a Panthers game. Either way you'd prolly be on TV since there aren't a lotta people at either venue.

B's fortunate to take a point from the Toronto and Tampa Bay games. The B's have gotten faster this year, but they are not as fast as those two teams - its like they are wearing Acme jet skates. B's could use more secondary scoring, but I'm happy with the start so far.
Well, Leafs may be faster, but from what I have seen so far this year, I see the same results as the last 3 years when they play a bigger heavier team in a seven game series. And it ain't pretty.

Wow, Leaf fans giving up already.

Like W.C. Fields said....if you don't succeed, try, try, try again. Then give up, you don't want to look stupid. I can't see small, light, fast teams beating a talented big, heavy team in a seven game series. They say the game is changing, but judging by latest results (Leafs and Bolts were poster children for fast skilled un-heavy teams....how did that work out?) it seems a big heavy team wins the cup....St. Louis, Washington.

Rutherford in Pittsburgh tried to jump on board the 'fast and light' bandwagon and look where it took them as well.

I'd rather they didn't. It's still early enough in the season I root for both FL teams until one-or both-blow it.

There you are. You're too classy to rub it in someone's face, so I didn't expect an immediate reaction, but I knew you'd chime in at some point.
At least Dallas is up next, so the losing streak shouldn't exceed three.

Most of our ribbing/razzing is good natured around here. I haven't seen a lotta open hostility at the games I've attended, even toward ppl wearing the opposition's sweaters. So far, no beer throwing. And at the prices they charge, I'm drinking it.
