NHL Season 2021-22

The PNW rivalry has begun. Nice showing from the Kraken tonight.
Vancouver sure played like they were ready to go home after a season opening six game road trip.
I'm guessing they flew into Seattle and will fly home, but that would be an easy bus ride home otherwise.

Well, the Leafs are heading to Carolina this evening and likely facing their former number 1 goalie, Freddy. Based on what we have seen so far this season, I am looking at yet another game in the loss column as the Leafs simply can't score or keep the puck out of their net. Today's practice had them re-shuffling the entire line up in an effort to find something that works.
Stupid Leafs.

But you have to admit, the deck chairs do look nicer arranged that way.

Hyman seems to be a nice fit in Edmonton.

My wife, who knows even less about hockey than I do, was excited to see that the Kracken won last night. I suppose it's inevitable that we learn to be hockey fans in time.

While we lived in NYC, a friend was a big Jersey Devils fan. She had tickets right near the glass for a game and took me to that game with her. It sure was fun and raucous, so I can see getting sucked in pretty easily.

I forgot to mention @Gaolee, check out a few Seattle Thunderbird games in Kent. It's also a fun experience on a smaller and less expensive scale as you ramp up your hockey knowledge.
You can get into a Tbirds game for $20 each and the parking across the street from the Showare Center is free. Other free lots within a block or two of the arena as well. They have promo's now and then on game night for discounts on concessions and tickets, but I don't see any this year. Likely because of the pandemic. It used to be 10 game tickets, 10 beers, and 10 Tbird hats for $220 for example on a group special.
Even a trip to Everett to see the Silvertips is fun.

Plus, I play Thunderbirds, so there's that, too.
