NHL Season 2021-22

Completely agree with the jersey change...been 18 years (2003) and I'm still not used to it. Seeing Montreal, Toronto, Chicago...any of the original six in their classic dark jerseys was memorable. I still vividly remember seeing the late 70s Canadiens play in Pittsburgh...Lafleur, Lapointe, Savard, Cournoyer...such a mystique about those unis.

And 1000% agree with seeing the same teams way too often! Sometime it seems like the Pens play the Islanders 20 times per season!
Red Wings haven't changed their logo or uni in almost 100 years, and I hope they never do. Love the original six unis.

What the h is going on with Montreal?
I usually have SXM ch91 on in the vehicle during the commute and they were talking about Price and a few others being out and Montreal not doing well. But I haven't seen them play yet. I also haven't seen the sabres play yet and was actually planning on not watching if I could help it, because I and everyone else is expecting them to be horrible this year. They were talking about how they've won all their games so far and asking the same question. What's going on with the sabres? Maybe I should keep not watching.
I enjoyed seeing a team like Montreal make it through the playoffs and all the way to the cup. I was hoping they would build of that and be a good team this year. But it sounds like they fell apart.

Okay, I know it is early, but let's look at the first 5 game stretch.
Auston Matthews - goals 0, assists 0, points 0, annual salary 11.6M
Mitch Marner - goals 0, assists 1, points 1, annual salary 10.9M
John Tavares - goals 1, assists 2, points 3, annual salary 11M
William Nylander - goals 2, assists 3, points 5, salary 7.5M
So, for the big 4 we see 3 goals, 6 assists, 9 total points, salary hit of 41M. Okay Matthews did miss 3 games, but not a good start for over 50% of your salary spend.....Dumbass has some explaining to do....at least Willy has been playing well, easily the best Leaf.

The Leafs should've kept Babcock and got rid of the whiny snowflakes on the team.
They made it pretty clear over the last 2 seasons that Babcock wasn't the problem.
I wish Buffalo was willing to pay and would've brought him in when he was on the market.

:roflmao:
Seriously, they need a coach like Babcock to come in and straighten them out. And if anyone wants to who whine about the coach being a big meanie head can have their mom drive them to practice in the minors.
It's crazy how much talent they have and terrible they play. They really do need a no nonsense coach.
I truly sympathize with y'all. Not only lose the game, but it looked like Marner got 'dinged'.
Meanwhile, Panthers are 5-0, Bolts are so-so.
