NHL Season 2021-22

Things are looking a bit better in the centre of the hockey universe. They are in second place in the Atlantic Division, have won 7 out of last 8, including wins over Calgary, Philthydelphia, Boston and Tampa Bay, and looked solid doing it. Interesting to see that at NHL.COM, the "experts" have them slotted at 16 in The Top 16, with 7 out of 14 "experts" not even including them in the top 16, although Calgary is ranked 5, TB 7, Philly 9 and Boston 14. Hmmmm.....

Oilers played like in Buffalo. Couldn't score 5 on 5 and hung their young goalie out to dry with some bad give-aways.

And not only that, but the optimism stemming from Jarry's play the first two weeks of the season has since left the building. Back to the minors for that guy.

And locally, the entire Coyotes roster is looking like a beer league team. Goaltending especially has been atrocious. A record of 1 win in 15 games with a -37 goal differential. On the bright side, there are a lot of tickets available for each home game.

Yes. I feel bad for a coupla the Canadian teams falling on their ice, but it seems The Cup likes it here in FL.

Canada was good to the Pens, back to back shutouts.
In other news, Seattle fans are already falling/jumping off the bandwagon. Apparently they assumed their team would enjoy even more success than Vegas, and since they aren't after 17 games, time to move on to something else shiny and trendy.
