NHL Season 2021

Golf Leafs Golf. Willy and Mo showed up, but nobody else....Marner looked like a deer in the headlights, you could see the panic in his eyes.
Maybe if "Dougie" had kept the golf courses closed for another week, the Leafs might have decided to show up!
The Leafs top line's inability to possess the puck, like they did all season long, was their downfall. It's quite obvious that they don't like playing in their own end, nor do they like the opposition taking away their time a space. They haven't learned anything from the last four post seasons... it's just not the same game!
I will be watching the off season with keen interest. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the "big four" are moved, but it won't be Johnny T!
Oh, and GO JETS GO!

Going to be awfully hard to find a buyer for either Matthews or Marner given both their contracts and, more importantly, their playoff track record. No team wants a $10 Million dollar man who disappears in the playoffs. And trading Willy makes no sense...he was their best forward all series.

Well, the Leafs are going to have to eat some salary in any deal... but I agree!

As good as Price played, its Montreal's forwards that deserve a lot of the credit. The D were solid in front of the net, but I noticed all the forwards skated hard back to help out and took away a lot of the shooting lanes. In the games they lost, you can see for a lot of TO's goals Habs forwards coasting 5 feet away from the shooter.
That would drive me crazy as a coach. You need to skate just as hard getting back as you do attacking or get off the ice.

Danault line played exceptionally well against the Mathews line.
Now facing a team with two offensive line is gonna be more difficult (and a F***ng good goaler)

I don't want to be in Maple Laugh head office shoes right now......

I've been rooting for the jets for the last few years. (I don't really have a favorite team, I just like the playoffs and like several teams). But since the hit on Evans, I hope the jets get swept.
I can't stand the leafs. They spent all this money on superstar kids that like all that fancy offensive play during regular season and then choke when it comes time to play real hockey in the playoffs. They had a real coach that could've whipped them into shape and made them men for the playoffs, but they fired him because he was "too mean" and hurt people's feelings. Buncha whiny brats. And the fans are brutal. They only love em when they're winning.
I've rooted for Vegas since their first year, but seeing how quickly they'll play dirty when they'rr having their a$$ handed to them, I hope Colorado sweeps them. I like the avs anyway. I've liked them since the Roy and Foote days. I also like the team the Islanders have put together the last few years under Trotz. I'd like to see NY vs CO.
But I'm not sure who I'd root for. If it's anyone but NY, I'm going with the Avs.

Winnipeg should get swept and shiflee should not be allowed to play another game.
Earlier in the game a Hab was on the ice with his helmet off and shyflea punched him hard in the head, which itself is supposed to be a game misconduct. It embarrassing how bad the refs have been.
That was disgusting and Evans whole career could be in jeopardy.

I agree. I understand being competitive and being emotionally invested, but these are professionals and there's no reason to lose yourself to that extent and try to hurt someone that bad, intentionally.
All because they other team is playing harder and you're losing?
That's why I wrote off Vegas the other night. No one did anything as ridiculous as Shiflee did, but they played dirty because they couldn't keep up.
I only hope Shiflee comes back in time to get his a$$ beat by someone. But he's likely gone for this series. And probably the year.
