But some people really miss that audio info below 20hz that a CD can't produce
Some people like audio above 16k as well

View attachment 4413574 I'm about to show my age. It is probably made by Gerrard. For those of you who are admirably young, Gerrard was one of several really crappy turntable manufacturers.
Funny to hear mention of Regas here, never thought they would go mass market.
Record sales are up because of middle class affluence and nostalgia, not quality. They are a pain in the butt to maintain, expensive, heavy, terrible for the environment, and are guaranteed to degrade over time. A record will never sound as good as the first time you listen to it.I recently played a CD for my wife, then played the same song on a record. She was stunned by how much nicer and warmer the record sounded. Sure they are old technology, and a pain to use; but they sound better than CD’s. Now, some here will not notice any difference between vinyl and digital. But some here on Talk Bass feel there Squire Affinity bass sound better than a Mike Lull bass.
Listening to records is more of an experience. Ya don’t just track through like your on an I-Pod. The music industry forced digital music upon us before it was ready. Digital is better now than 20 years ago. If you were doing studio work back then you would know what I’m talking about. Vinyl disappeared because the music industry phased it out. Not because digital was better. Although 30 years later is has now caught up.
The bottom line is vital sounds really nice. It is A different experience listening to an album. More vinyl sold than CD’s last year. Guess the emperor is putting his old clothes back on.
There's a mixer, a vacuum cleaner and a baby carrier planned ... Get your bucks ready!
Here to help:For you Herb Alpert fans, don't forget these LPs:
