NoVA/DC/MD Fall GTG

One of Gard's friends, can't remember the name

That was Joe, and his baby daughter Brooke. Joe's a guitar player and he's good people from what I can tell - Gard and I met him for brunch Sunday too.

I dunno why I felt the need to post about Gard's friend - mebbe cause he was one of the few people I officially "met"... Several people I just kinda talked to without meeting =0)

And I too felt the crippling effects of that Conklin, broke out the P bass when I got home to make sure my skilz were not magically stolen by the 8 string monster.

Crippling effects?? Ok, well maybe the shoulder after a week of gigs.. haha!

By the way, I have some serious Schroeder GAS now...During the show that night, I kept looking back at my Bags and trying to picture a 21012 or a pair of 1212's...DAMN YOU, GAS!! I thought I was done and happy!! :bawl:

(Who am I kidding?? I don't suffer from GAS, I love every minute of it! :hyper: )

Thanks for catching that Dave!

Joe is indeed a good dude, totally not your average guitarist, and his daughter Brooke is a doll (so is Joe's wife, who is a flight attendant and was working this past weekend). I don't want to think about how long Joe and I go back, he's from Orlando, and lemme see...I met him in '87........that's a while...;)

...speaking of that brunch, man I didn't eat again until this morning, that was a STOOPID amount of food! :p

Hey man, no problem at all. Glad you could come down. If we're ever in NY, you've got to hook us up with some monster Korean food though! :)

It was really great to meet you, put a face with a voice - I know we talked plenty of times back in my BC dayz!!! :)

Damn, Damn Damn Damn. Looks like I missed a great time. Oh well. I did get to see my daughters soccer team become league champs this year, and my some came out of his shell in the last game of the season and become a manimal on the field.
Next time yo.

Your misery gots company. I had a really cool wedding gig subbin' with the Too Many Daves band (gawd, I love playin' with a 5-piece horn section) but didn't get out of there until 9pm. So I'm really sorry I missed Jongapalooza, but it's probably for the best: I probably would've bought something I cannot afford right now. :p I do appreciate the excellent pictures, it's nice to see the new faces I didn't get to meet!
