Purchased my Aftershock from a fellow member who happened to be local, thanks again JimmyM

Lots of info in here (I've "only" read through 40 pages so far), but I'd figure I'd ask some direct questions I have:
Is it possible to sync the presets and changes in the Neuro App, and the desktop editor? I notice that on the app, I have everything I add to my library, including adjustments made to downloaded presets, but on the Desktop, it only shows the ones I've made or modified, and not the originals I downloaded.
Is it possible to go from Green mode to Preset mode by just holding the pedal down? Or do you have to double click, and hold? I've already activated the quick preset switch option which makes it faster, so that's a plus.
Just out of curiosity, What is the main difference between the "regular" engines (tube, crunch...) And their "Bass" versions made for the aftershock? Are they based on the same pedal/inspiration, or totally different? Edit: just found the answer to this on the engine description list. "The "Bass" versions use the same engines, but voiced and EQ'd for bass. "
Judging from previous comments, are version 2 or the drives just darker versions of the originals? I know it's been said of some, just not sure if that's the same for all.
Roger or Nathan may correct me on this because it's been a while for me, but I believe that due to the differences of different operating systems and the code they have to write for each, you'd have to duplicate the download process for each version you're using. This could have changed recently, but it was thus when I was more involved with it.Excited to be part of this "club"Purchased my Aftershock from a fellow member who happened to be local, thanks again JimmyM

My new Aftershock will be here in a few days.
I am selling my Darkglass vintage microtubes. There are some presets that come close?
I liked it a lot but I would like a little more versatility...
I had the B7k too but I didn't like it very much.
Try the Darkglassy user preset
Lots of great info and ideas to toy with. Also nice to see the updates that came along the way. May need to look into that tap tempo switch down the road. (Not to mention, other SA One Series such as a modulation...)I skipped on the VMT and went with the Aftershock as my first pedal (no regrets considering the amount of options). But I would suggest you play with the tube drives, Low OD presets, or even the Bass TS9000 engine, and possibly remap the Tone And/Or Clean knob for Voice, or Voice Frequency to see if it can replicate the ERA knob of the VMT. I'll be trying this myself, but have nothing to compare it too.My new Aftershock will be here in a few days.

You mean the drive max control? Sets the maximum available gain that the gain control will sweep through. Not sure if this is better here or the S.A.S.S. thread, but what exactly does the "Distortion Mix" option under assignable controls do? I wasn't sure if it was just reversing what the "Clean" knob does (direction), or a drive channel blend. It doesn't seem be be either. I'll keep messing with it and see.
That one I understood. I'm talking about the assignable options for the Clean and Tone knobs in the drop down menu. It's listed as "distortion mix". Although I do believe it may have something do to with the Drive Max parameter in relation to the Drive Knob. You mean the drive max control? Do you mean a standalone LPF? Or creating an LPF-type effect with the AfterShock?Do you guys know if you can make a preset with a LPF? Just curious if it is possible with the Neuro App
