On a more serious note - should I watch Archer? Never seen a episode but I have it on Netflix.

Just pulled the trigger on the next batch of Ictineos and ordered a fifth gear too. Oh boy, the excitement is killing me! If this works out it will be my main tone/dirty boost/drive for my setup. Then it's take every gig that comes to me, or hit the classifieds hard with what's not on my board, which is still quite a bit.

Just ordered one. I was looking for a pre-amp pedal, kind of an end of the board tone shaper. The only thing it doesn't have, that I wanted, is an XLR out but just too rad to pass on imo. Can't wait.

So, I gigged my new Ictineo last night. I set it to the clean SVT settings and just left it on for our 100 minute set. I use a blended Volt Thrower into a GR2 for Chameleon and I used a Dunwich ODB set to medium gain for a Cream (sub) set (all into the Ictineo).

My amp was a Mesa D800 (on a 115/112 stack), with the lower end dialed back for room boom control... bass was a Fender P.

And Damn, that all sounded killer. It was a three band evening and several of the other musicians commented on how good my set up sounded... deep without sounding muddy, and full in the sense of the bass just wanted to make one get up and dance, but not overpowering the rest of the band (drums, guitar and Hammond B3/synth/piano).

Anyway TB is full of threads about "always on" pedals. I've never had one... until now.

I have read somewhere Maple switch caps sound better than the Rosewood ones!!
