Number of people on your Ignore list?

Every time I go to let everyone out of my personal TB jail I stare at the names and can't remember why they were on there. Often it's the same thing; they are listed as "inactive" which used to be "banned" but I guess this is the softer, gentler TB.

Bottom line is that if they annoy me that much, they'll end up back on there anyway. But I really don't hold grudges. I'm too forgetful to remember who I'm holding a grudge against, or why.

Choosing to ignore isolates a person’s perception from the reality of their environment. When the inevitable happens and he/she regains awareness of the actual surroundings, they are up for big surprises.

Perhaps, but the greatest weapon against those who are only looking to agitate and be noticed is to ignore. It is also the easiest way to peace and happiness if there is someone who is your anti-matter. You take away an agitators power when you can't get agitated and you just shut them out from reaching you.

Yep, and IMO online "surroundings" are at least partly a figment of our imagination and also a function of our real choices of who we interact with, and how.

It would go against my finer principles to use the list of ignorance. No, I view people just as equally as I view people IRL. All with equal amounts of contempt, disdain and slight regard.

Participating in an online forum isolates a person from the reality of their environment. Anything beyond that is is just choosing what your alternate reality is going to be. I've never ignored anyone officially (I just skim by certain people's posts) but if doing so makes someone's experience here better, who are we to criticize?
