Number of people on your Ignore list?

None.

I don’t want to put myself in an echo chamber, surrounded only by those that think the same way I do. That limits personal growth and chokes perspective.

This is a place for the free exchange of information and opinions. I’d be hard pressed to think of another category of discussion where more varied opinions and interpretations could be generated than the arts (music).

1. And I'm sure he's a great guy. But his avatar leads me to believe he would throw political bombshells if given half a chance. Honestly, I don't understand how avatars slide under the political radar around here. But they do. I just wanted to reduce my risk of running into his politocal minefield.
(Not sure if joking...)

I was surprised to find no one on my ignore list! So you are all on notice... :D ;)

But I don't ignore people who have been hateful to me, or started arguments with me. Meh. Honestly, I try to forget those things. I may actually learn something from that same user down the road if I let it go.

Pretty sure I know who you mean, at least the avatar. I believe the history on the pseudo political avatars started with the Hope avatars were deemed acceptable, so now the hat can’t be banned or bias will be claimed.

I'm not. This user has a very politically charged avatar. (Or at least he did.) So, I figured he would be someone to avoid. So I ignored him. Heck, it's been a while. I don't know if he still has that avatar or is still even am active member.

But, no, my post wasn't a joke.

I guess I unblocked him at some point. I just checked and couldn't find anyone I ignore.

The most troublesome people on here tend to get themselves banned anyway. ;)

^^^THIS!

Negative, snarky, fault-finding commenters typically dig their own grave. And when they are doing what they do, they have themselves convinced that they are winning, when in actuality, the only person they are hurting is themself. This holds true not only on TB, but in life in general.

It kinda reminds me of when someone says "they fired me from my job" when in reality, they *should* be saying "I fired me from my job." Some people just don't get that whole self-responsibility thing.

For those who get banned from TB, it wasn't TB than banned them. It was them banning themself by the choices they made.

Natural selection. It works like a charm!
