None, I don't think. I've been puttering around on internet forums for a while now, the kind of thing that passes as horrible vitriol on TB is pretty tame compared to what you see on a video game forum. That's not to say that I find everyone's input particularly valuable, just that anyone who bothers me enough to consider ignoring them tends not to last long here.
Guaranteed if you look at your ignore list six months down the road you’ll be likely to not know why they were put there in the first place.
I hope someone can see my posts, I have put myself on my ignore list and I cannot see my posts anymore...

Oh. I’ve occasionally forgotten the initial reason, but when I hit the “show ignored content” button I generally think “yup, that makes sense.”

None. There never was, and there never will be. I find it childish. Even if we disagree, we can discuss respectfully. Those who exceed the limits are reported, which I never had to do. But my level of tolerance to stupidity is higher than my level of tolerance to meanness. We can see with some avatars how some people are full of contempt and hatred for others, which everyone can witness by the way they behave. I don't need a function to ignore them, I am an adult.

I’ve got a few users on my ignore list. Generally it’s ppl that I felt were Aholes, either bc their posts were usually the result of being Aholes or were just Aholes to other ppl.
Ignoring/blocking them enhances my TB experience so screw them.

I don't ignore anybody. If somebody trashes me on this site, I want to learn something constructive from it. Maybe I may have made a presumptive or errant statement that I need to reexamine. Or maybe the detractor is just a windbag. Either way it's something to learn from.
Zero. The mods' tolerance is far less than my own so it's unlikely to ever be an issue.
Just checked. Around 50. Looks like around a quarter of them are banned. I agree with the OP that the IGNORE function makes the Talkbass experience more enjoyable.
I haven't been ignoring anybody lately, but you all are on two weeks notice.
