Number of people on your Ignore list?

A few. If I never had anything to sell in the classifieds, it would be much much more. I will happily sell something to someone i find annoying on the internet though, so it doesn’t get used that much.

They will still see your posts. Not sure about PMs though. I don't really worry about the classifieds. I don't need to sell 100 OC-2 Octavers or whatever I'm selling, just one person needs to buy it.

How many people are on your ignore list? I used to go by the rule of never ignoring anyone, but found that it really made Talkbass more enjoyable. Every year or so, I'll review the list and I usually find that one out of five are now banned, so it isn't just me. Usually after the "review" I'll unignore everyone. Sure enough, the same people quickly go back on that list. I currently have seven on the list and by the time I do the net "review" there will probably be ten.

Please don't mention any members by name. I'm not trying to turn this into an outing or attitude shaming session. I like the feature.
5 right now. It is for the best sometimes. You should see how many people I’ve blocked on Facebook lol.

Zero. I had several years back, they mostly got banned, then it was down to just a couple, and the last time someone asked, I went and checked, they'd been banned too.

I only just figured out how to use the “like” button. What a great feature! Every time I want to, like, type that word, I can do it with one tap instead of typing out all four letters!

So...what’s the “ignore” button for, then?

If there is someone you can't take, and don't want to read what they post, you put them on ignore.

I think me and my stupid questions would be on a few people’s “lists” :bag:

I'm in the "no such thing as a stupid question" for the most part. I'm just happy when I see the people asking incredibly basic questions about poking around inside an amp come back and ask follow up questions. And continue asking questions. At least they're alive.

This guy.... truth!

one is a person whose opinion I highly respect and follow, no idea how he ended up on my Ignore list. Glad I checked!
Maybe you ignored him accidentally, it happened to me a couple of times. Fortunately i saw when i did it and fixed immediately. It would be nice if there was a message saying "are you sure you want to ignore this person?"
