I don’t put enough stock into what jerks or dumb people say to let them bother me enough to put them on an ignore list. I also feel like there is something I can learn from everyone even if it is how not to act.
Good grief -- if I can't handle content on a heavily-moderated forum without electronic assistance, then I probably should spend my web-surfing time taking anger management classes instead.
There's a couple, but that's true everywhere.
I believe in advocating for myself when I believe someone has no value.
Now recruiters on LinkedIn I probably have thousands bc they just call incessantly out of the blue at any hour of the day, any day of the week.

I currently have 3 on ignore.
2 were banned, one is still active. I don't miss their posts and I do feel that ignore does enhance the quality of the TB experience.

Negative, snarky, fault-finding commenters typically dig their own grave. And when they are doing what they do, they have themselves convinced that they are winning, when in actuality, the only person they are hurting is themself. This holds true not only on TB, but in life in general.
It kinda reminds me of when someone says "they fired me from my job" when in reality, they *should* be saying "I fired me from my job." Some people just don't get that whole self-responsibility thing.
For those who get banned from TB, it wasn't TB than banned them. It was them banning themself by the choices they made.

Zero. I admin/mod some FB music related pages/groups and even tho' I eliminate spam right away (unrelated to the subject, I let people announce music, artists and concerts of course, even ads in the right places) you wouldn't believe how many people report posts just out of offense from things they simply don't like. Can't people just triage on their own then proceed to the next thing, something that's more interesting and productive for them? Sorta' narcissistic if you ask me, emotionally hemophiliac.
