I`m not so sure if "Oasis sucks and reheated food is killing you" would pass as unbiased truth, though:scowl: :scowl:

Is it just me, or is this band grossly underrated? I've had a couple of their cds in the past, but never really hooked onto them. I got their new greatest hits dual cd and am in love with it. These guys had the potential to be HUGE. I mean... like... beatles huge! It might just be because i don't live in the uk, but everyone i know has only heard a couple of their songs. Just like, wonderwall and champagne supernova. interesting....
I've never been able to stand Liam's always slightly-out-of-tune-singing-voice, the big egos, or the incredibly boring songs. If you ask me, Oasis is extremely overrated.

I never really dug Oasis before I became a "musician". ...
I never really dug Oasis before I became a "musician". Now I definitely see what all the fuss is about.
If you can't understand why this band is famous and liked as much, I'd say you failed to understand the taste in music of this generation. Oasis is far from perfect, but they have this je ne sais quoi that definitely puts them above the rest in today's pop world. If you fail to identify that mojo factor which is the sole reason for their fame, it's pretty fair to say you have no clue what people want to hear these days, IMHO.
Things have moved on since then though and Oasis' music hasn't aged well, IMHO!
What is "your generation" pray tell?
I know the majority of people in my generation would watch paint dry than listen to the tired old stuff Oasis are putting out, and I was growing up when Oasis got big. I loved them, 12 years ago. Things have moved on since then though and Oasis' music hasn't aged well, IMHO!
Hmmm - so what is it that makes you a "musician" .....hmmm! ?

Oasis haven't been massive in the UK since 1996, the days of Britpop... I did see them live a few years back when they headlined the Cardiff arena and the Foo Fighters supported, and the Foos blew them out of the water in so many ways.
Hey I'm trying to find some info on what the bassist from Oasis uses. Anyone know what he uses for Standing on the Shoulder of Giants? Specifically on songs like "go let it out". I'm guessing definitely some kinda fuzz.
Any help?
