The cheesy bad sunburst in the middle of the pic was given to me recently by TB's own RHFUSILLO, who is to my left , playing my fretless Jazz.
The bass had no name on it, but I have seen them marketed as "Orpheus" and Conrad.
It has a Duncan Quarter Pounder in it and rumbles pretty well

(Just kidding, kinda, I didn't even get to see the thing, but they do talk about that in the rules. Only skimmed them myself, honestly, but I did catch that one. Maybe over at that other forum, not sure what their rules are these days...)

First, this is one of the best posts on this site in a long time. Thanks to all who contributed it. I feel duty bound to include on of the strangest, and most innovative bass designs ever, the Lane Poor Minima.
There is local luthier, Becker Guitars, who has some pretty unusual bass creations. I've been meaning to check them out. I've heard excellent things about their work. The bass designs are not really my thing. But I would not be surprised if I like them better in person. http://www.beckerguitars.com/martian-basses/
